Safe Environment Certification for Adults

Volunteer and Employee Hiring Policy
The Diocese of Crookston is committed to creating a safe environment for children and young people. Consequently, the Diocese has adopted Minnesota Statute 245C.15 as its minimum standard for the purpose of evaluating background checks of those seeking employment or those who wish to volunteer in a capacity that may involve unsupervised access to minors or vulnerable adults. Any employee, volunteer, or independent contractor whose background check reports an offense listed in this statute will not be approved to work in any capacity that might include unsupervised contact with minors or vulnerable adults.
