The Diocese of Crookston is working in conjunction with the Center for Ministry Development to provide leadership training for Coordinators of Youth Ministry, Directors of Religious Formation, teachers and catechists and all other adult leaders working with youth.

The Certificate in Youth Ministry Studies program is comprised of 8 courses. The Year I courses were offered last summer. For Year II, four courses will be offered during two extended weekends this summer (July 22-25 and August 12-15, 2010). The registration fee for each course is $180/person. Cost breaks are offered for parishes that send two or more people (cost breakdown and due dates are enclosed).

These courses are designed for adult leaders who work with youth, ages 11-18. This includes people who work in junior high ministry, religious education, and in high school youth ministry in parishes, schools, and other settings.
