ARISE is a response to Bishop Michael J. Hoeppner’s Pastoral Letter, Meeting Christ-Living Christ. It is a three year program with a small community format. I am pleased to announce leadership workshops designated to train the parish priest, designated coordinator and leadership committee of each participating parish. This February’s training is the launching of our diocesan participation in this three year program that is a parish-centered process of spiritual renewal and evangelization that enables people to deepen their faith, develop a closer relationship with Christ, grow in community, and reach out in service to others.  The training will provide for our leaders formation and skills training for the ARISE Parish Planning Team who will be responsible for implementing ARISE in the parish. It will offer and overview of the entire process, timelines, materials, an understanding of faith sharing, and how to become a ministerial community. • Every parish in the Diocese of Crookston has been asked to send representatives to attend one of the deanery workshops. • These representatives should include the following: o Parish priest, designated leadership committee coordinator, and leadership committee. • Please RSVP to the host parish that you will be attending with the number of attendees from your parish(s) so seating and refreshments can be arranged.
