GUIDELINES
Diocese of Crookston
DIOCESAN EXCHANGE PROGRAM
Primary contact: Susan Olson (218-253-2188)
1.
Each Parish is responsible for delivering to and picking up each article.
2.
All articles will be catalogued according to description, type, and size. This
catalogue will include photographs.
3.
Items will be catalogued on the Diocesan website for general review. It will be
important to remember that there will always be a lag time between changes in
inventory and updates on the website.
4.
St. Joseph Red Lake Falls will serve as the coordinator of an inventory of large
furniture items, but the furniture will not be stored in Red Lake Falls. If parishes
cooperate, photographs can be included in the inventory as well.
5.
We will suggest: Any parish that receives an item should send a thank you to the
giving parish.
6.
Items in the Exchange are to be reserved for Diocese of Crookston clergy. We
will not be giving items to parishioners.
7.
After 2 years the Diocesan Liturgical Commission will evaluate whether to give
the items to a mission, another parish, or continue to hold them.
8.
Whenever possible, parishes are obligated to consider the intention of the donor
before placing items in the Diocesan Exchange Program.
