I am delighted to bring to you this
pastoral letter: Meeting Christ – Living
Christ. It is the fruit of our prayer and
reflection together, the fruit of the Second
Synod of the Diocese of Crookston. It
presents a vision for our future. It
challenges us to grow in the life God so
generously shares with us. It urges us to
be fully engaged in the mission Christ
entrusted to us his Church, to proclaim
the Good News to the whole world. It
invites us to a deeper personal
relationship with the God who abundantly
blesses us.
I hope every priest, deacon, religious and
lay person will carefully study this letter. I
hope that all, young and old, will join
together in parish small groups, in our
schools, and in our families to review and
discuss this letter. I charge our pastors
and all involved in parish and diocesan
leadership to work diligently to implement
the directives of this letter.
