Responsibilities of the Office of Parish Administration
(taken from the Diocese of Crookston Pastoral Plan)
The Office of Administration will see to it that parish financial records for selected parishes are maintained in accord with generally accepted accounting practices for fund accounting and the norms of the NCCB. To this end, it will:
- maintain and update a Uniform Parish Accounting manual that will be the norm for all parishes;
- notify the Diocesan Finance Council of any parish whose financial records indicate a financial problem.
- perform administrative review for two or three parishes each fiscal year.
