You probably noted in the last issue of OND that the Diocesan Annual Appeal (DAA) did well last year. Thank you for all your support! This coming Sunday is Announcement Sunday for the 2018 DAA. Materials for this year's Appeal were handed out at the kick off event and are included below via electronic links.

Please announce Lenten regulations in your bulletins and at Masses this weekend. You can find them on Pg. 64 of the Diocesan Policy Book or by clicking HERE.

Blessings on your Lenten journey to Easter. Please don't hesitate to call on us for assistance.

FAQ: What is the proper time for Easter Vigil?
On Saturday, March 31, 2018, the sun will set in the Diocese of Crookston at 7:54 pm. The end of civil twilight (nightfall) will occur at 8:25 pm. The Easter Vigil celebration should not begin before 8:25 pm. “The entire celebration of the Easter Vigil must take place during the night, so that it begins after nightfall and ends before daybreak on the Sunday.” Roman Missal #3 on “The Easter Vigil in the Holy Night.” Please use wise, prudent, and pastoral judgment as to when your particular parish celebration begins given these instructions.
