Feast of Divine Mercy observances

The following parishes in and near the Diocese of Crookston have planned special observances to celebrate the Feast of Divine Mercy on Sunday, April 28:

St. Joseph, Bagley: The Chaplet of Divine Mercy will be prayed at 3 p.m.

St. Philip, Bemidji: A Divine Mercy Celebration will begin at 3 p.m. The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be available.

Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Crookston: A Holy Hour of Adoration, including the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and other prayers, will begin at 3 p.m. The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be available.

Holy Rosary, Detroit Lakes: Adoration will be held from 1 – 3 p.m. A Divine Mercy Program will start at 3 p.m.

St. Mary, Fosston: The Chaplet of Divine Mercy will be prayed at 3 p.m.

St. Michael, Grand Forks, North Dakota: Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament will be held from 2 – 3:30 p.m. The time of prayer will include a guest speaker, Stations of the Cross, and at 3 p.m. the Divine Mercy Chaplet will be sung followed by Solemn Benediction at 3:20 p.m.

St. Joseph, Moorhead: A Holy Hour will be held from 2:30 -3:30 p.m. with a sung Divine Mercy Chaplet at 3 p.m. The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be available.

St. Joseph, Red Lake Falls: A Divine Mercy Celebration – including exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, Divine Mercy Chaplet, prayers and Benediction – will begin at 3 p.m. and conclude with refreshments.

Sacred Heart, Roseau: At 2 p.m. a film about Divine Mercy will be shown. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament begins at 3 p.m. The Chaplet of Divine Mercy will be prayed, and the event will close with Benediction. The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be available.

St. Bernard, Thief River Falls: A Divine Mercy Celebration, beginning at 3 p.m., will include exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, the Chaplet of Divine Mercy in song, excerpts from the “Diary of St. Faustina”, rosary and Benediction. The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be available.
